I booked a king room, but my confirmation showed two queens instead. Support was able to fix it quickly, but it sorta made me worry that something else might be off with the reservation.

I had to cancel my booking last minute — I think it was on a Tuesday? Maybe Wednesday, not totally sure. The refund did come through, but it took around a week or so. Support was actually helpful when I reached out, I just wish the updates had been a little quicker along the way. Overall, it was an okay experience.

The room just didn’t feel clean. Dirty in spots, and the furniture looked really worn out. Not the most comfortable stay...

I booked through westgatereservations.com, the resort looked a lot nicer online than it felt once we actually got there. I was really hoping the amenities would be one of the better parts of the stay, but they ended up being disappointing. The pool was super crowded most of the time, so it was hard to really relax or enjoy it, and the gym felt like it hadn’t been updated in years, with older machines that weren’t exactly great to use. A few areas around the property also just didn’t feel as clean or well-maintained as I expected. The staff was okay and not rude or anything, but for the price, I definitely expected the facilities to be in better shape and cared for a little more.

I was frustrated with westgatereservations.com because the price I saw at first wasn’t the price I ended up with. As I kept going, extra fees started showing up, and it felt like I had to click through way too much just to figure out what I was actually being charged. I just wish they showed the full total upfront. It left a bad impression for me.
